I would explain as follows :

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM! Regarding your concern, I would like to explain that acute aortic syndrome your husband has experienced is a highly life-threatening condition. But when promptly treated, especially by experienced hands it yields spectacular results.
Besides surgical procedures, intra-aortic stenting offers a rationale alternative with good short and long-term outcomes.
As the periprocedural clinical course has been shown to be stable, then his life expectancy seems to be quite normal.
Just periodic imagine tests are necessary to assure that aortic structure remains steady

Hope to have been helpful to you!
