What Is The Life Expectancy Of Someone With Single-ventricle Congenital Heart Disease?
I would like to know whether I can marry and give my partner a better life and also know how to prevent any future complications that may arise for my condition. And is it normal to live long with just PA banding alone for a single ventricle condition?
Your reports are perfectly normal.
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Thanks for asking query on this forum.
Have gone through your question in detail and i really appreciate your concern.
As per your query,Yes you can marry and can lead a normal life with your wife. You are totally asymptomatic from last 23 years, and i don't feel that any intervention is required in your case.
However i would suggest you to inform your life partner about your congenital problem,Just to avoid misunderstandings in future.
Have seen the reports you have attached while questioning Dr XXXXXXX
Your reports are perfectly normal and i don't feel there is any need to worry.
Yes,you can live a normal life with PA banding,
Your 2d echo is normal, pulmonary blood flow is normal there is no hypertrophy. So no further intervention is required.
Suggestion
Just repeat a 2d echo and stress test every year.
Have a happy married life ahead.
Thanks.
