What Is The Meaning Of Vent Rate: 74, OR Int 143?
It would help to see the EKG
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
The vent rate is the same as the heart rate, 74 is normal. The other parameters have to do with the rhythm and whether there are any abnormalities in electrical conduction of the heart, which are all normal. There can sometimes be signs on the EKG of possible atrial enlargement, but that is not very accurate and nothing to be concerned about by itself. The nonspecific T wave abnormality could have many causes, including coronary artery disease, or it could just be normal. If you were having any other concerning signs for coronary artery disease, such as chest pain or shortness of breath on exertion, and depending on your age and sex, further evaluation might be considered, such as stress testing, but overall these findings are fairly common and there is a good chance there is nothing wrong with the heart. That being said, it does always help to be able to see the EKG, if you could send a picture of it I would be glad to take a look at it and let you know if there is anything else to say about it.
I hope that helps, please let me know if you have any other questions about that, and I would be glad to discuss it with you further.
I don't see the EKG pictures

You're welcome, could you check or try to send them again? I don't see that they came through yet.

Nonspecific T wave changes on EKG
Detailed Answer:
Sorry for the delay, I was away for a few days. I received the EKGs, and there are mostly flat T waves in basically all the leads; otherwise the EKG was largely normal. This is a "nonspecific" finding, which just means that it can be a sign there is something wrong, or it could be nothing, and it is not very helpful in determining which one it is. However, I would say this is a very common finding, and in my experience, usually it turns out to be normal. Whether or not to still be concerned would depend on the symptoms you are having, and that would drive whether or not to do further evaluation, for example, if you are having chest pain concerning for limited flow of blood to the heart, a stress test might be done; or, if you were having palpitations or shortness of breath, an echocardiogram might be considered.
Please let me know if you have any other questions, I'd be glad to help any way I can.
