Question: Follicular study done on the 12th day after menstruation.. Follicle size is 12mm..is that a normal size? And what should be the normal size on 14th day?

The follicle size should be in the range of 18 - 24 mm just before ovulation. If your ovulation is around 12th-14th day of the cycle, then the size mentioned of 10 mm is below normal. However, the follicle can continue to grow at the rate of about 2 mm per day and ovulation may happen in the next 2-3 days time.

By 14th day it should usually be around 20 - 22 cm. But it is generally accepted that the minimum follicular size before release should be at least 18 mm. So, I would advise you to wait for the repeat follicular scan on the 14th day to track changes in the follicle size and predict ovulation.
