What Is The Normal Range Of BP Reading In A 75 Year Old?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
goal is less than 140/90 in uk
Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic
In 2013, the JNC committee ( the US) revised their goals for blood pressure for persons over age 60- their goal is now less than 150/90.
The NICE guidelines in the UK have a goal of less than 140/90.
Since you are from the UK, your goal would be a blood pressure of less than 140/90.
In terms of your pulse, the normal range is 60 to 100 but the average resting pulse is between 60 to 80, the fitter a person is the lower it would be (closer to 60)
Once your pulse is within the 60 to 100 range it would be considered normal.
During exercise, for your age, your target heart rate would be between 75 to 150.
I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
