Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for writing to us.
I reviewed your reports. It is not clearly visible. According to your report 70% sperms are normal, 25% have abnormality in head and neck, 50% in tail. 8-10 pus cells, abundant granular debris are seen. Other details are difficult to read. If feasible send clear image again.
I guess you are asking detail interpretation of your report.
Normal sperm count: It is about 40 to 300 million per ml of semen. If count is less than 20 million per ml, motility and morphology of sperms to be taken into consideration for fertility issue.
Asthenospermia: When less than 50% of sperm are immotile it is called asthenospermia and responsible for infertility.
Significant infection: 8-10 pus cells per high power filed is suggestive of infection either in prostate, epididymis or testis. It should be less than 3 for normal consideration.
Please send me clear report for more interpretation.
Hope I have answered your query,
regards,
Dr.Chintan Solanki.
