Brief Answer:
Multiple factors are responsible for the outcome. Need details.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

* As it is indicated that a benign tumor of mixed salivary gland on hard palate was operated in 2008.

* Adequately excised margins of benign tumor represent very less chances of recurrence.

* According to my surgical experience, prognosis depends upon many factors over patient as well as surgeon's part; major of which are the extent of the lesion, the level of surgical excision, palate reconstruction during surgery, the body`s immune response and post operative care.

I require certain details so that I can answer your query completely.

1. What is the current complaint of the patient with duration and progress details.

2. Any swelling or abnormal appearance at the operative site.

3. Any recent or past follow up CT scan done or not.

Awaiting your response.
