Advise required on further course of treatment and further diagnosis test if required
Brief Answer:
Hello. You will require chemotherapy, radiation and hormonal therapy
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have seen the reports. So its a favorable subset of disease and now you will require chemotherapy followed by radiation and hormonal therapy. Hormonal therapy should be taken for 5 to 8 years. That will complete the treatment. No further tests are required at this stage except a 2D Echo.
Thanks and regards

Dear Doctor , Thanks
Few queries:
What type of chemotherapy and how many minimum cycles have to be taken as we have heard that chemotherapy destroys the patient mentally and physically for long term.
What will be the best harmonal treatment for this case and that would be before chemo or after chemo
Lastly should we go for Oncotype DX testing will this be helpful in this case

Brief Answer:
Hello. Chemotherapy is safe
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
You must not worried about chemotherapy as 90 percent of the patients tolerate chemotherapy well if administered by a trained medical oncologist only. Chemotherapy does not destroy mental peace. Yes , there are a few side effects like weakness, fatigue, mild nausea but these are all transient.
Chemo drugs vary with the type of cancer and stage of cancer, so if side effects profile is different for each patient and you must not believe on the words of others.
Chemo dose of decided by weight, height and performance status of patient and hence different for each patient for obvious reason.
I would like to prescribe you a USFDA preferred protocol of 4 cycles of AC followed by 4 cycles of taxol. Hormonal treatment will come at the end of chemotherapy and radiation.
Best hormone for you will be tamoxifen.
You are not a candidate for oncotype Dx as you have a positive node.
Thanks and regards
