Question: 57 year old female with history of Supra sellar Mengioma in year 2000 , please let me know the prognosis , and likely recurrence of the tumor , is it benign or may turn into malignancy . what would be the management and likey outcome .

Mostly meningiomas are benign (almost 90%). Whether malignant or benign depends on the histology.

Further, recurrence depends on the surgical removal. If completely removed with associated dura, then recurrence chances may not be that high(10-20%, 10-year recurrence).
