What Is The Small Lump At The Urethral Opening?

Question: I have a small 'lump' on urethra opening. It is a little bit darker (gray/purplish) and it almost looks like a small bubble. It doesn't hurt, and it will not pop. It really hasn't affected me other than cosmetically. It almost looks like a 'fat lip' of the pee hole. I'm wondering what this could be , and what doctor I should go to , to get it checked out?
Brief Answer:
Small nevus
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for contacting HCM with your health care concerns
You have noticed a dark spot at the opening of the urethra on our penis. This is a normal finding which is probably a small nevus or mole. I have had several patients with similar findings and are completely benign. You do not need to have any biopsies or treatments. I can reassure you that these dark spots are normal and nothing to be concerns about
I hope this answers our question. If you have any further questions or comments please contact me again at HCM

I dont not believe this is a small nevus because sometimes it changes in size. It goes from larger to smaller and such. If i were to see a specialist, what kind of doctor should I see?
Brief Answer:
Urology
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for getting back to me with your update.
I agree with you that if it changes in size then it is not a nevus. It is possible that it is a telangiectasia. This is a blood vessel that enlarges at the surface of the skin and dilates. These are normal and benign.
If you want someone to look at it I recommend a urologist.
I hope this helps. Contact me again if you have any further comments or questions
