Brief Answer:
Diarrhea or abdominal pain is not seen in Mycoplasmal infection
Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us at healthcaremagic
I have gone through your query.
Mycoplasma genitalium is commonly associated with urethritis and symptoms like urethral discharge and burning on passing urine. It is an STD.
It is not associated with abdominal symptoms like diarrhea or abdominal pain in males though it may cause pelvic inflammatory disease/ PID in females, wherein in may present with lower abdominal pain.
Likely your abdominal symptoms are due to cause other than Mycoplasma.

will mycoplasma genitalium remain in body even after antibiotic treatment? how dangerous it is for people living around( ie mother or brother..etc)?
Brief Answer:
Mycoplasma is transmitted sexually. Antibiotics are effective against it
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Mycoplasma genitalium is transmitted by sexual contact; it is an STD and causes urethritis in males as well as females and may cause PID/ Pelvic inflammatory disease in females
It can only be transmitted from an infected person to his/her sexual partner, not otherwise.
Antibiotics like doxycycline, azithromycin, moxifloxacin are usually effective against it.
