Question: anal skin tags after chronic anal fissure .the fissure heal but I still have anal skin tags what the treatment option

Skin tag should be removed as it may trap moisture,fecal material and lead to irritation and infection. You need to be examined by a surgeon. Treatment option depend upon size of tag. Small lesions can be tied at neck with fine cotton and it will fall off after some time due to cutting of blood supply. Other options include thermal cautery,freezing by liquid nitrogen. Larger lesions may need surgical removal. Hygiene is most important after the procedure because of risk of infection from faeces.
