Question: I fell down badly n fractured my arm n shoulder as I fell on it but don't want to get surgery getting a sling n hand is blood clotted

Hello,

The need of fracture depends on the type and extent of fracture. A blood clot is normal after a fracture. If there are multiple fractures and the bones are displaced then a surgery is needed to fix the broken fragments. You can upload the X-ray reports for a better evaluation. Using a sling will decrease the pain and swelling but will not help in the alignment of different fractured fragments.
