Question: What is this in my tonsil? It’s dark red and when you poke it with a q tip it bleeds a little. I’m scared of cancer. I have a history of tonsil stones.

Brief Answer:
Seems like tonsil's crypts.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I see the photo you attached and your tonsil looks really red, enlarged and with crypts.
The black point you are asking is a hole , a more deep crypt , possibly a stone has been there and removed.
This is not related to cancer.
Of course it bleeds when picked with a q tip because your tonsils tissue is picked.
Don't pick it and let it as it is. Do gargling , and use disinfectant spray in order to keep it clean and not allow food to go there.

Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Thanks.
