What Is Your Opinion About Tobacco Use While I Am Experiencing Flank Pain?

Question: i have left flank pain, i just had a kub and nothing found,also primary checked urine and blood was normal, ive had stones before and feels like the same pain, i had gastric sleeve 3 months ago and am taking urisol to help prevent stones and didnt have this pain before the surgery but im a dipper and am concerned the snuff use is causing this,do i need to request another test such as a ct scan or mri from my primary ?

can i get your opinion on the tobbaco use

Hi,

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

With the history you have given about left flank pain but normal KUB, urine and blood tests, history of sleeve surgery and so on it is needed to have at least n Ultrasonography of whole abdomen, CT scan if possible. These will help to watch for small stones that are not seen on KUB and also have visualization of the kidneys in a better way.
Contrast enhanced CT scan can show secretory functions of the kidneys. Please request for these.

Snuff can give intestinal symptoms like pain that you have.
Tobacco harms in whichever way you take it. It affects all the systems of body, particularly the brain and intestine.
Hence it is best to stop such habits.
