What Kind Of Radiation Does A Cell Phone Emit?

Question: please advice on the myth of cell phone use and radiation.
1.we use 2 i phones at home and keep them in the same room next to each other on the floor and hook up to charger. Our head and phones are not close to each other.Is it safe?
2. I keep cell phone all day in pant pocket while at work? is it safe for radiation issues?

Please find my observations below.

1.Cell phones are of many types and features. Well known brands are regularly checked for radiation emission and it is kept under control. Therefore brands like Apple, XXXXXXX follow guidelines detailed by the FDA.

2. Since you have mentioned iphone which is manufactured by Apple therefore the device is checked for radiation and found to be safe for use.

3. If you keep the phone and charge it and your head is away then there is no significant radiation risk.

4. Keeping the phone in pant pocket is safe. Not much research has been done in this but I will suggest that you keep your phone in different pockets like front pocket then back pocket on right or left side and sometimes in your shirt pocket. This will decrease any possibility of harmful radiation since you keep the phone on yourself at work.

5. In conclusion, we require more research on the radiation effects of phones. I believe that good phones are tested and then cleared by FDA. However you can limit the radiation by following simple measures to protect yourself. It might take another 10 to 20 years to know the real impact of cell phone radation on our health.

So Sir do you suggest not to charge the cell phones at night in same room where we sleep. Or should i just leave the phones on but not into charger ?
or can we charge both the i-phones but leave it on the floor so far from the bed?

1. There is no harm in charging the phones and you can continue doing it. Please do not answer calls when your phone is charging as the radiation increases many times dueing this time. You can switch off the charger and answer the phone and then put back to charging when your talk is done.

Sir one last question. I also use an old phone which has been disconnected from cell phone services but I simply use the alarm feature of it to wake up in morning and keep it by my pillow. So basically the old phone is my alarm clock now. Is that safe to put it next to my head close to pillow?
