May I lnow why is mineral water preferred?
Isn't distilled water purest?
Isn't distilled water purest?
Brief Answer:
Purest is essentially not the best water for consumption.
Detailed Answer:
Hi, Minerals are essential for vital functioning of enzymes in the bodies. Most of them help in catalysing enzymatic reactions in the body and thus are very essential, even though they are needed in very minute quantities. Consuming distilled water which is bereft of all minerals for a long duration is not going to replete the mineral stores in the body. So generally it is not advised. Mineral water on the other hand is a good source of minerals. It is generally preferred over distilled water. Hope this clarified your answer.
