Brief Answer:
Don't worry, watch for other symptoms

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I wont get overly worried as cough and cold in this age is mostly due to some viral infection/allergy and improves within 3-5 days with symptomatic treatment.
I would suggest you to give syrup containing combination of antiallergic like chlorpheniramine and decongestant like pseudoephedrine(like Timinic or Maxtra).

Giving combination of bronchodilator like levosalbutamol which prevents airway spasm with amboxol a sputum thinning agent(like ambrodil ls or ambrolite ls) for 5 days will also help.
Both these are prescription medicine so I suggest you to get these prescribed by a pediatrician.

Avoiding cold items and steam inhalation helps in early recovery.
Watch for any breathing difficulty, worsening of cough severe enough to cause vomiting, persistent high grade fever and if you are noticing any please consult your pediatrician.

I hope this helps. please let me know if you have any more doubts. Wishing for your child's speedy recovery.

Brief Answer:
You can give the above said combination 3 times a day

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I am really very sorry but here we can't prescribe the medications. This platform is mainly for second opinion, to clear your doubts or to make you understand something which you are not aware of.
Cough and cold may or may not be associated with fever. In absence of fever it is more likely due to allergy to cold or other allergens.

You can give both of the above mentioned combination in dosage of 5 ml three times a day after consulting a pediatrician.
Please get her evaluated by a pediatrician in case of any danger signs as mentioned above.

Brief Answer:
Any food of her choice can be given, avoid cold items

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Decrease in appetite is common during any illness. You can given any food of her choice as there is no restriction apart from cold and spicy items. Cold and spicy items may trigger cough by stimulating cough receptor. Encourage her to take frequent small sips of normal water.
If you are finding any significant lethargies or breathing difficulty please take her to any emergency.
