What Must I Do About An Allergic Reaction To Bactrim DS?
Allergic reaction to medication
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I want to know what symptoms you are having. Allergic reactions can be life threatening. These can be a feeling that your throat is closing and you can't breathe, difficulty moving air in and out of your chest (your neck muscles might bulge out as you attempt to move air in and out of your chest and the skin in between your ribs will sink in), you might start to wheeze as you breathe. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms you MUST call for an ambulance IMMEDIATELY!
If you have a red rash or hives and are not having trouble breathing, then you should contact your physician or the doctor covering for him/her by telephone as soon as possible.
Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions, I will be happy to help.
