What Needs To Be Done About Fever In A New Born Baby?

Just keep a close watch
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have seen the attached report. That has no relation to current fever.
Usually it is normal for babies to have some mild warmth. This can happen due to excessive covering, less intake of milk, dehydration, etc.
It could also be an indicator for sepsis or infection anywhere in the body.
Is your baby losing weight or gaining weight?
Any other symptoms like cold, cough, vomiting, dullness, etc.?
How is the urine output and feeding?
My tips
1. Feed more frequently. Ensure only adequate coverings. Avoid too many layers, 2 should be ok
2. If fever persists, consult your Pediatrician and get the baby examined. Do not give medicines without getting the child examined.
