What Other Medications Are Recommended With Tai Opiates?
Question: I'm on naltrexone so I can't take opiates. My question is what other drug could I take that would give me similar effects?
Brief Answer:
Are you in pains? What is the nature and location of your pain?
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about this inability to tai opiates because you are on Naltrexone. Pain medications are prescribed based on the nature and severity of your pain. I will like to know where you pain is, it’s nature and how severe it is. With this information, I will determine what medication is appropriate for you pain and make sure that it in no way interferes with naltrexone.
I hope to hear from you as soon as possible and would respond promptly to make helpful suggestions to you.

Brief Answer:
I would recommend a combination of Tylenol and Ibuprofen!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this follow up question.
I have reviewed your information fully. Given the fact that you are on naltrexone, most of the powerful pain medications cannot be used. To ensure you receive a good pain control, I would go with a combination of two simple drugs which make them more potent.
Generally, I advice my clients to get Tylenol and Ibuprofen 3times daily at doses recommended by the pharmacist. Please, if you have a stomach ulcer, avoid Ibuprofen.
Let me know how well you respond to these. I wish you well.
