What Precautions Needs To Be Taken While Suffering From Low BP?
Question: Hello Sir,
Sometimes my wife BP goes low. She feels very lethargic and doesn't wants to eat anything.
Please suggest some remedy or precautions for low BP.
Any lab testing is required?
In low BP any instant medicine you can suggest. I usually give coffee with high sugur.

I would like to know how low her BP gets while she has these symptoms.
Generally any BP readings below normal limit is acceptable unless patient has symptoms. Since she has symptoms during low BP times, it would be worthwhile to see a doctor and figure out the cause of low BP. In my opinion, she may need an ECG, echocardiogram and a thyroid profile test.
In the meanwhile, she can be treated with extrafluid and added salt intake during low BP episodes. A prone position will also help.
