Brief Answer:
Can go for tests

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

From your description he seems to be hungry. But I would also rule out any source of physical discomfort. Hope there has been no shaking of him to stop him from crying. Babies must not be shaken.

I have seen his weight for age and he must be around 6.2 kg at 50th percentile. Was he at 50th percentile at birth. If he was 50 th percentile (i.e 3.4 kg) at birth, then he has been losing weight. He must be given breast feed until he is full. We will need to start solid foods after 4 months as soon as its possible for him. For now we must increase his milk intake. You can also give him some extra cow's milk before sleeping after giving breast milk. Avoid using bottle as he will get attached to bottle and will not take breast milk.

We must also get his ear examined by a physician for ear infection and urine examination done in laboratory. These are two places where infection can hide.

Hope it helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.
