Thanks for the query.
Swollen and inflamed papillae are quite common and they aren’t serious in most of the cases. It will resolve spontaneously even without treatment.
It may be related to stress, lack of vitamins, gastritis or acid reflux.
Try to include more fruits and vitamins in your diet. You can take multivitamin supplements on a once daily basis. Avoid hot and spicy food stuffs. Apply steroid containing mouth pastes like triamcinolone mouth paste which is easily available as over the counter.
If it’s still persist despite all these, consult a physician and get evaluated.
