Brief Answer:
Please see the detailed answer below.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Ovarian cysts are fluid filled sacs that can form in or on the ovaries. Most common type is functional cyst which is normal and can reach up to 2-5 cm in size. They can seen mostly during ovulation and it is normal. Symptoms like pain abdomen / abdomen bloating / irregular periods / painful periods etc., are observed.

For the pain to get relieved, you might be suggested NSAIDs.
But there are other type of ovarian cysts like dermoid cyst, cystadenoma etc., which cannot be neglected. Hence, better to consult a gynecologist for further evaluation.

Hope my answer helped you. Thanks.
