What Should I Do About Persistent Fever In A Toddler Espite Administering Crocin And Neomol?

Detailed answer below.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Paracetamol is a temperature regulating medicine with an average dose of 15 mg per kg of baby weight every 4-6 hours, maximum 4 times in 24 hours that makes it 165ml of paracetamol in your baby &to be given 4-6 hourly.
That makes about 1.55 ml of 120mg /ml solution or .9'ml.of 170 mg per 1 ml solution. The baby has been given both the medicines in last four hour.
You need to calculate the exact amount of paracetamol before repeating any other medicine to baby and can repeat proper dose after 2 more hours.
Till then, try to control temperature by putting a damp cloth (with cold water) on babies forehead, covering the baby with a light blanket.
Keep the baby well hydrated. Do not repeat the dose on an empty stomach.
In case there no relief even after repeating proper dose after 2 more hours, along with home care/temperature rises /there is shivering or pain, he needs treatment of basic cause after proper physical examination. please take her to her doctor /ER for advice.
I hope that helps. Any follow up query is welcome.
Thanks.
