Brief Answer:
It looks like allergic cough.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

You have not mentioned if along with cough you also have breathing difficulty and wheeze.

Do you have any allergy issues like being uncomfortable in dust and smoke? Are you a smoker?

To me it looks like an allergic cough/cough variant asthma. You should first get a chest X-ray done to rule out any infection or any other pathology. A PFT will help in diagnosis of asthma. You will need to take anti-allergics like Telekast-F and inhaler like Symbicort or Advair. You should consult your PCP or a pulmonologist for all these and who can examine you and advise you accordingly.

If a smoker, quitting smoking will help. I hope you are not taking any medicines for high BP because BP medicines belonging to ACE INHIBITOR group can cause cough.

Hope I have answered your query.

Take care.
