What Should I Do To Relieve Severe Sprain In The Neck, Back And Ribs Region?

Question: Since Monday evening (21st May, 2018) I am having a very bad sprain in right XXXXXXX of the body (neck, little bit back and ribs portion). I have taken Dicloran A 5 tablets but did not get any relief. Today (24th May, 2018) I have started Flexura D.
Could you please advise what should I do? Also, what is the reason for getting the sprain as I did not do any sudden movement, I was just sitting on my chair doing work.

Brief Answer:
acute muscle spasm.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have read your query thoroughly.
* Seems to be due to acute muscle spasm ( which can be possible without any
sudden movement ).
Kindly provide me further details so that I can answer your query completely.
1. Pain - type, radiation if any where.
2. Associated difficulty in breathing, neck movements if any.
Till you revert back with answers, primary relief with
ice application and deep breathing exercises can be obtained.
Awaiting for your response.
Regards.

Thank you very much Doctor.
Please see below further specifications:
(1) I am having trouble at the time of movement. For example, not able to tilt my neck. A little movement activates the pain. Specially when I get up from the bed I am having a lot of difficulty as I am not able to get up.
(2) The pain is in the neck (front), back portion of neck and downwards in the ribs portion. If I move my neck the pain spreads everywhere.
Thanks & Regards,
XXXX

Just one thing Doctor, I am working so application of heating pad and ice, analgesic spray can be possible in morning and evening only. Is there anything else I can do to get rid of the pain while working or I have to take rest only? Also, I would not prefer to do rest as it gets very difficult to get up from the bed because of the pain.
Thanks

Detailed Answer:
Hi
You can use heating pad and ice pack while home, take analgesic spray with you at work place.
It is not recommended that you do total bed rest, which will make late recovery.
Thanks.

Please advise what should I do on the weekend? Should I continue with what you told or something else?
