What Should I Do When I Can Barely Concentrate Despite Taking Adderall Daily For ADHD?

Question: Hello!,I take 70 mgs of Adderall daily for years. 30IR at 5:00 A.M.,20 mg IR after lunch at 1:30 pm, and last 10 IR at 5:00. I need to get back on my medication because I have a son and can barely concentrate. Please help! Am willing to decrease to 20IR morning, 20IR afternoon and 10IR at 5:00 pm.

Hello,

I read your query and understand your concerns about poor concentration and ADHD.

Considering the past history of response with adderall and Vyvanse I feel we are left with limited option to treat your ADHD. Since both of the medicines are under controlled medications and can not be prescribed by anybody unless he/she examined the patient personally.

Being an online doctor I completely acknowledge your need for ADHD medication but could not help you in issuing prescription as this is not permitted as per law.

I request you to contact your earlier doctor or nearby psychiatrist for prescription. I must assure you that every doctor tries his best to alleviate suffering of his patients and there is good possibility that after reviewing earlier charts he will be happy to issue a much needed prescription for adderall.
