Detailed Answer:
Dear,

Vitamin B12 is primarily found in animal-based foods, and it can be difficult for vegetarians and vegans to get enough of this vitamin from their diets alone. Here are some ways to increase vitamin B12 levels for a vegetarian who doesn't consume sprouts, milk and milk products, or yeast-based foods:

Take a B12 supplement: Vitamin B12 supplements are an effective way to increase your B12 levels. Look for supplements that contain cyanocobalamin, which is the most common form of B12 found in supplements. It is recommended to take at least 2.4 micrograms of B12 per day. Ask your physician to recommend a good supplement.

Eat fortified foods: Some cereals, plant-based milk, and meat alternatives are fortified with vitamin B12. Check the nutrition labels of these products to see if they contain B12 and consume them as a part of your regular diet.

Eat B12-fortified nutritional yeast: Nutritional yeast is a popular ingredient in vegetarian and vegan diets. Some healthy yeast products are fortified with vitamin B12, so check the labels to find one that includes B12.

Consider B12 injections: If your B12 levels are severely low, your doctor may recommend B12 injections. These injections deliver a high dose of B12 directly into your bloodstream and can be given once a week or once a month.

Please get in touch with a physician with the test reports to receive the best treatment advice on Vitamin B 12 supplementation.

Hope this helps,
Neethu Vipin.
