What Should Be Done When Having Vitamin D Deficiency?
Question: I am 82 year old male keeping good health and quite active. I have been diagnosed with vitamin D deficiency (29.28 in a reference scale of 50-250). I have started daily dose of one Bio D3 Plus and weekly dose of CHOLEALCIFEROL Granules XXXXXXX virtualyy as self medication. Please advise.

I have studied your case. You are doing right by taking Bio D3 plus and vit D 3 XXXXXXX I would suggest you following.
1. Do gentle exercises like walking or swimming. It will make your bone stronger.
2.Take Cholecalciferol with milk, also take egg, chicken and fish. THey are rich source of vit D3.
3.Sun exposure is good. Continue with this.
4.Take 1000 mg calcium daily. Best is calcium citrate maleate.
5. Stop XXXXXXX after three months as vit D 3 can cause toxicity also.
