What Should Be Done When Mercury Thermometer Breaks In The Mouth?

Question: About half an hour ago my 4 year old son broke the mercury thermometer in his mouth. He spit out mercury and pieces of glass. I think he spit out entire quantity of mercury but I am not 100% sure. Is it cause of worry?
