Question: LOwer back pain while sitting, I need to lose weight and belly fat, what sort of workouts can I do?

Hi,

Lower back pain while sitting is most likely to be postural or due to slipped disc.
I suggest pain killers , upright position while sitting and muscle relaxants. Start muscle strengthening exercises for lower back( Any physiotherapist will teach you).
If there is no relief , then please get MRI of lower spine.
For Weight loss and loss of belly fat , the best way is exercises - abdominal exercises along with diet control.

Would crunches, running, aerobics not worsen the lower back pain?

I see an improvement so I am assuming it is postural.

All three exercises can worsen back pain if it is due to slipped disc but will help in postural back pain. Since you already feel better ,then I will go with postural back pain.
