What Specific MRI To Order For A Detailed View ?

This only requires that I upload 1-2 images (jpeg screenshots).
The image can be from MRI brain, neck or paranasal sinuses
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.
Hope you are not in much discomfort.
The image you uploaded shows the base of skull, cervicomedullary junction, and part of the posterior fossa.
It is difficult to confirm the whole scan from one image. This is likely the lower most parts in MRI brain scan. However such an image can be acquired in MRI neck or paranasal sinuses.
The scan to be ordered depends on the problems.
In my opinion. the scan to be ordered is likely MRI brain scan and it contains multiple image sequences as per protocol and any extra imaging like cranial nerve study might be added if desired by your doctors.
If you are having a problem in the neck or paranasal sinuses then the required scan is to be ordered.
Regards and thanks,

For follow up on this question: if I wanted a radiologist to comment on the components in that image, how would that be done in the MRI Rx? Though there is no way the radiologist can determine what they are, my intent is that they comment on their presence. For instance, would we ask for comment or statement regarding “inorganic” items or other terminology describing such items in the MRI?
Structures are commented on location and anatomical placement
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.
There are structures that are named as per anatomical location. We keep in mind the possible structures expected in a MRI image and proceed to comment if they are normal or abnormal. In the same way any inorganic structure might be located if the imaging technique is able to locate it. Then we mention the structure and the exact position.
Please let me know if I can help you more about it.
Regards and thanks,

white area is showing normal structures
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.
The structures are that one would expect in a normal brain.
There is no non organic structure in the image shared.
Regards and thanks,
