Detailed Answer:
Dear
Thanks for contacting with your health concern and after reviewing your health query I am of the following opinion:
- Is stressful life related with: job pressure, marital disharmony (marriage or relationship), peer pressure, mental pressure, emotional problems, increase in financial obligations, unclear expectations??
- In Ayurveda we hold that stress (sahas/साहस) and anxiety (chittodvega/चित्तोद्वेग) is caused due to an imbalance in Vata Dosha ( vata vridhi) mainly a disturbance of nervous system: characterized by cognitive, somatic, emotional and behavioural components.
- Let me know if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms:
. Anger/irritability
. Breathlessness.
. Sweating/indigestion.
- Do let me know about the following questionnaires, so that I can tailor made the diet/medicines and lifestyle programme for you.

Detailed Answer:
Dear
Thanks for reverting back.
1. As you are a chronic diabetic, thus I will recommend to check with your HbA1c levels every 3 months and not weeks.
PS. As life span of red blood cells are 120 days, thus they remain active for around 3-4 months, thus the reading is taken quarterly.
2. At your age [78], HbA1c should be around 6.5% [excellent to good control]
PS. Aging is associated with increased HbA1c levels, independently of glucose levels and insulin resistance.
3. Just add half lemon to lukewarm water and not hot water and take empty stomach. [no need to add sugar or artificial sweeteners].
4. It is CBT [therapy] and not CBD [ chemical], which is effective in treating a variety of psychological disorders, and may potentially improve glycaemic control and psychological outcomes in diabetes.

2. Mentat DS syrup is sugar free and helps the brain to maintain cognitive function.: 5 ml twice daily (before or after food)
3. You are time and again writing CBD, and in original it is CBT: which means informed strategies to improve self care and treatment adherence, which includes:
- Relaxation and stress reduction techniques.
- Journaling and thought records.
- Activity scheduling and behaviour activation.
PS. In nut shell in CBT, problems are broken down in 5 main areas: situations, thoughts, emotions, physical feelings and actions. So this is possible only when you interact/discuss with your attending Physician about how to include CBT in your daily activities.
