What Test Detects H.Pylori Antigen?

Question: Will a standard stool sample test with culture detect if I have h pylori? Or does that have to be specified in the orders?

Routine stools test and culture do not detect H.Pylori antigen. It is a special test and has to be ordered specifically.

Should be off antibiotics and PPI

It can be done on the same stool sample. You should not have taken antibiotics or PPI for 1 month before giving the sample.
