Question : Will a standard stool sample test with culture detect if I have h pylori? Or does that have to be specified in the orders?

Routine stools test and culture do not detect H.Pylori antigen. It is a special test and has to be ordered specifically.

It can be done on the same stool sample. You should not have taken antibiotics or PPI for 1 month before giving the sample.
