What Test Should Be Done For Symptoms Of Bloating, Hiccups And Intermittent Bowel Movements Everyday?
Question: Dear Sir/Madam
We recently done urine Test along with USG Abdomen for my mother since she was having Bloating Stomach and Hiccups and was passing stools 3-4 times intermittently when she have food.
In Urine analysis it has been mentioned Pus Cells are out of range 4-6 instead of 0-2 and Epithelial Cells 2-3 instead of 2-3.
Could you please let us know what test should be done Further to idetify the Infection and take the medication accordingly ..
undergone Bilateral Knee replacement on 30th March 2018 its 26 days over now
taking following medications
Sompraz D 1 - 0 -0 before food
TAB PREGABA 1-0-0 AFTER FOOD FOR PAIN
TAB GEMER P2 1-0-1 BEFOORE FOOD FOR SUGAR

Thanks for query .
Based on the facts and reports of urine analysis and ultrasound Scanning that you have posted your mother seem to have mild UTI as revealed by presence of 4-6 pus cells .
Get her urine culture done to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to.
Give her broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefixime along with urinary antiseptic like
Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkaliser thrice daily.Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.
Rest of the reports are well within normal range .
As regards her other complains like bloating ,frequent motions she is likely to have Gastro Enteritis .
Taking metronidazole and Pantoprazole twice daily for a week will resolve the issue
Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician.

Is it fine to give Cefixime 400 mg ?
Whether tablets mentioned by you should be taken after or Before Lunch
Also while giving Urine for urine culture is it necessary to give first Sample early in morning or anything during afternoon is fine
