Posted on Mon, 21 Apr 2014
Question: Recently my weight got increased a bit about 6 to 7 kgs and I usually had oily skinand oily hair but now I feel dry skin this was happend all of a sudden in 2 months of period, just before this I had a minor oeration for TESA procedure. I thought my symptoms are due to the medication used post operation. But after going through couple of blogs I am feeling it may be related to Thyroid intial stage, I also feel bit weakness in my arms and legs. How can I determine or what test I can go through to check is it related to Thyroid, in case if it is do I need to go through life long medications as mentioned in many blogs.

Brief Answer: TSH and FT4 as first step. Detailed Answer: Dear user, hi! as a first step towards right diagnosis, you must check your TSH and FT4 and let me know the report. if there is a problem we will start the treatment. taking it life long will depend upon the cause. and the cause we will try finding out only after we know there is a prob. regards!
