
What To Do About Low Lying Placenta At 19 Weeks Pregnancy?

Question: HI SIR my wife is 19 weeks pregnant and ultrasound report says : the placenta is low lying posterior lower end 0.6 cm from internal OS, with normal maturity ..what do do in such case and can she do her routine works or bed rest is required

She need not take bed rest.But better to avoid sexual intercourse.Also need to report your obstetrician if any bleeding.As pregnancy grows placenta also will get back from os.

sir there is no bleeding as on date but spotting was observed last week one day only and there were one blackish brown spot, occasionally she fails periods like pain in lower back and lower abdomen.
whenever she feels bored i take him for a ride on car for half to one hour very safely without jerks can i continue?
