What To Do For A Scrotum Skin Tear?

Question: what to do for a scrotum skin tear?
It would depend upon the cause and extent of the tear. For example, a small tear with no bleed should heal fairly well. But once in a while, a large tear due to local trauma may happen, and scrotum being a very vascular structure could bleed alarmingly. Usually though, the bleed stops upon administration of sustained local pressure and cold compresses. And luckily, the good vascularity of scrotum causes and injuries to heal very rapidly with practically no scar except in the poorly controlled diabetic or immuno-compromised patient.
