What To Do When Crown Falls Off After Root Canal Treatment?

default
Posted on Wed, 25 Mar 2015
Question: I recently got an abutment placed for an implant. I am waiting on the final crown to be made. Tonight while eating dinner my special cover came off of the abutment leaving the screw exposed in my mouth. What should I do?

Brief Answer:
dislodged gingival former, replace the screw.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
As far as your problem is concerned, the cover screw over the gingival former might have come out. Nothing to be panic, consult your implantologist and get the screw placed. Till then do not eat from that side. If the gingival former or screw has come out, preserve that till you consult the implantologist.
I hope my answer will help you, take care.
If any queries are there reply me back.
