Question: My query to Dr.VPYK XXXXXXX only..Mam my 12 months old baby was playing with a battery,now Iam not able to find the battery since 48hours,I think he has swallowed it..Please help..He is completely normal eating food ,playing quite normal ..please help

I advise you to get an x ray of the abdomen.

This can detect foreign bodies like battery.

Since he is stable,the risk is very less,but lead batteries are known to disintegrate and cause delayed perforation.
