Hello,

Stroke can cause serious disturbances in speech and articulation mechanisms.

Since Stoke causes irreversible damage, oral or injectable medications cannot correct this dysregulation.

Hence physiotherapy and speech therapy can offer some degree of improvement.

Swollen tongue usually subsides in the due course and with physiotherapy.
