Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Firstly regarding the medicines, you have mentioned. Are these the complete medicines he is having or you have missed some. Now, considering he has had two stents and his symptoms like pedal edema, I guess his heart function is decreased. So I need to know echo report for that. Also, upload the kidney function test so that I can suggest proper medicine.
From the information you have provided, I guess he is having diabetes, heart problem and kidney problems. So upload the report so that I can have complete picture.
From the heart perspective, he is not receiving any medicines. He should be on multiple medicines like Aspirin, Clopidogrel, statin like Atorvastatin or Rosuvastatin, beta blocker like Metoprolol, ace inhibitors like Ramipril.
Last medicine, ace inhibitors like Ramipril will help in preventing further kidney damage and protein excretion. So that's a important medicine.
In diet, he should have low salt diet, and probably less water as I consider his heart function is low (although report is not attached). He should also have low fat, oily diet, regular exercises like walking or brisk walking etc. Sugars should be strictly under control.
For constipation, he can continue the medicines mentioned and also should eat high fiber diet like fruit banana (a fruit a day if diabetic), green leafy vegetables like spinach, raw cucumber. Avoid smoking, refined food, fatty and oily food. So for all this, he should be under cardiologist, nephrologist and endocrinologist care.
Hope this helps you and get back with some more information and if you have any doubts.
Regards.
Thanks for yours valuable feedback
I have attached the medical reports and medicine list which my father is taking daily
kindly have look a on this serious issue and help for cure
Needs ECHO.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through the reports. His ECHO report is not there. So attach it or get it done if not done.
In the medicines, he should be started on ace inhibitors like Ramipril which will protect his kidneys and also be beneficial for heart. Next, thing, his ECG is having irregular heart beats called as atrial fibrillation. Such patients are started on blood thinners other than what he is having in order to prevent clot formation. So you need to discuss these two issues with local doctor, one is Ramipril and other is regarding blood thinners. Rest all looks fine.
All the best.
Take care.
