What Would Cause A Cracking Sound In The Back And Fainting After Falling To The Ground?
A couple of possibilities.
Detailed Answer:
I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.
Just to make sure you that I understand correctly the sequence of events, the loss of consciousness happened after hearing the crack in your back, but before that, you also mention the policeman to have banged your head, correct.
There would be two main possible explanations for your loss of consciousness. One would be that the bang you took on the head caused a concussion, a mild traumatic head injury one of the common initial manifestations of which is the loss of consciousness.
The other possible explanation would be a vasovagal syncope. It is a very common phenomenon in which the body overreacts towards factors such as pain or emotional distress leading to a slowing of heart rate and a drop in blood pressure. In your case, the pain caused by the policeman actions, the fear and anguish you must have been experiencing, peaking after hearing that cracking sound would well justify a vasovagal syncope and loss of consciousness.

Thank you for the additional information.
It is obvious that the PTSD plays the most important role in your current situation, the psychological aftermath has been much more significant than the physical damage.
I would strongly advise psychotherapy for that purpose and if not enough an antidepressant can be added to help with the anxiety.
Regarding the spine curvature issue, you mention the event is not the cause, such changes are very common and not due to that type of trauma.

about the Scoliosis i do have a slight curvature. My spine in the lombard area has an inward curve as well at that point and was wondering if i had a blow to the back approx lumbard area if that could be the cause of that injury......
thank you have a wonderful day...thank you for taking this time to explain this to me....be well....

Sorry for answering a little late, your question came during the night (due to time differences with Europe). It's great that you've started psychotherapy, keep that going.
As for the scoliosis it is highly unlikely that it is due to the blow. In theory if the blow caused a fracture it might favor scoliosis over time due to forced posture, but it's not likely especially at your age at the time, would need to confirm it with imaging anyway.
