What Would Cause A Large Red Rash At The Injured Area A While After Having A Fall And Hurting My Right Leg?

Trauma one month back, rash on lower limb
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,
I appreciate your concern
Based on the image you uploaded and the description you gave about the one month old trauma episode, it is unlikely that the current rash is a result of the fall you mentioned. If there is no pain and significant swelling in the affected limb and there is no history of antiplatlet use (asprin/clopidogrel) then that goes even more in favor of the fact that it's not related to the fall. The rash in my opinion is likely to be secondary to an insect bite, allergic reaction or contact dermatitis. Topical and oral antihistamines would be required. Local calamine lotion and oral hydroxyzine would suffice in this regard.
To be on the safe side the limb should be examined and an ultrasound for collection can be done. This would also rule out/ look for the possibility of cellulitis.
A complete blood count and liver function test including PT/APTT INR should also be advised in consultation with your doctor.
Wishing you best of health
Thanks
