liver enzymes were very elevated. i had an ultrasound which was normal. what would cause elevated enzymes?
Brief Answer:
Go for serology.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
As ultrasound is normal fatty liver etc., are ruled out but as enzymes are elevated i would suggest you to go through serology like HAV and HBsAg they are test for hepatitis A and Hepatitis B and could be a cause of rise in enzymes.
