Detailed Answer:
Hi again,
Your symptoms cannot be explained by menopause alone. Menopause is not associated with such drastic weight loss.
Even if you have been on Synthroid for many years, it is best to get the thyroid function testing done to see if the dose you are taking is appropriate. The dose requirement for thyroid supplementation can change over time.
Also, it is important to undergo a detailed physical evaluation and screening for underlying malignancy. Breast examination and mammogram, pap smear testing, colonoscopy, pelvic examination, blood testing for complete blood count and metabolic profile are recommended. So, please be advised to follow up with your primary provider for detailed evaluation.

Unfortunately, I cannot give you a definite diagnosis without evaluating you first. Given your health history, there are several contributory factors for feeling tired, reduced functioning, weight loss, skin and hair changes. That is why it is important to undergo a detailed evaluation to assess your general health status.
