What Would Cause Sharp Pain In My Lower Back And Left Sided Abdominal Pain?
Question: I'm having sharp pains in my lower back and abdomen on my left side

There are many medical conditions that cause back pain and left abdominal pain.
Some of the causes can be:
-diverticulitis or constipation
-kidney stones
-inflammatory bowel disease
-sciatica pain
To rule out these causes I suggest the following examinations :
-An ultrasound,which is the most important examination to confirm the diagnosis
-A complete blood count
-A urinalysis
Meanwhile to calm the pain temporarily you can use painkillers such as ibuprofen 400 mg,three times a day.
