Question: My husband, trying to get relief from three days of gas and belly pain, took a mixture of baking powder - not baking soda - Will that be a problem?

Dear sir, I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns but there is no need to worry as baking powder consists mainly from sodium bicarbonate ( baking Soda) together with an edible acid.. If you are still suffering from gases and discomfort then you should take dysflatyl tablets three times daily or before every meal.
